Since 1980, Japanese Karate JuJitsu Systems has been providing instruction in Ju-Jitsu and the martial arts in the Bay Shore, NY area.

The Coward Never Starts
Grand Master Professor Richard Reinheimer has 40 years of Martial Arts experience, and over 35 years of teaching experience. He has been inducted into the United Martial Arts Association Hall of Fame. He has dedicated his life to the Martial Arts and his students. He teaches and lives by what he stands for, loyalty, honor, respect and discipline. Professor Reinheimer has master degrees in several different systems. He teaches Karate, Jujitsu and the anatomy of the body to strike specific pressure points. He believes these systems naturally blend together. We provide training for everyone from 3 years of age up to and including senior citizens. And all of our training is geared to each individual's age and experience. We also teach individuals with special needs, and we run a very strict school. We are very much involved with our student’s families, and the children must show us their report cards. We are one of the top three schools on Long Island that competed in tournaments.
The Weak Die Along The Way
Any school can write nice things about themselves, or show fancy pictures. We suggest visiting more than one school. When you’re at the school, ask many questions, ask for a trial class, and speak to other parents whose children are attending that school. Finding a martial arts school is an important decision. Like everything else, there are good schools, and schools that aren't so good. Only The Strong Survive
We are a family that does what we can for our community, and all the children in it. Japanese Karate Jujitsu Systems Karate School is affiliated with the Happy Kids Daycare and Pre-School program. We are also affiliated with a not for profit organization that is dedicated to keeping our children off the street. This is an after school recreation center where we teach the same curriculum and values that are taught in our Karate school. Our Martial Arts program is a well-rounded way to explore and enhance your child’s potential. Your child will show improvement in many areas, school grades, focusing, discipline, confidence and self-esteem. These improvements will grow out of the discipline and self-defense techniques learned in our Martial Arts program. When children are active and feeling good about themselves, they are less vulnerable to DANGER (Drugs Are No Good & Every-kid Rules).
